Tutorials

The term tutorial refers to a specific homeschooling solution in which classes are offered by teachers for homeschooled learners. These may be single classes or entire course loads, supplemented by work sent home, depending on the nature of the tutorial.

Co-ops and Park Days

A homeschool cooperative is generally a group of parents who choose to gather together with the intention of sharing the responsibility of educating and socializing their children. Classes tend to be less formal than those found at a tutorial, parents are usually expected to stay on site, and socializing for the entire family is often a perk of this method of gathering as a group. Park days are intentional times set aside by groups of homeschoolers to gather simply to play and socialize.

Other Enrichments (classes, clubs, camps, field trips, etc)

These encompass a wide assortment of enrichment opportunities such as semester or year long classes, clubs, one off field trips, arts education, and more. Not everything on this list is homeschool specific, but they are secular options that add to a well-rounded education.
